I need to stop having fast forward vacations. Taking a trip that involves spending a third or even half of your time on the road isn't ideal.

Seeing the moped race this weekend was great. The next race will be a sight to see. The organization running the race was quite the spectacle. With a nicely paved brand new track (except for one corner according to Dan, Emily and Devon), an announcer box, a scale, a concession stand, and a great staff. I suggest to anyone to come and see it next time.

More and more I'm realizing how unobservant I can be. I've always thought of myself as attentive but alas I was wrong. The funny part is I'm seemingly unmindful of "for women" clues in the names of products. I remember back when we were having pregnancy mania where I work I threw down three women's nutritional candy bars. With a mouth full of Luna bar I said to my coworker, "Boy these taste funny." "They're for women dumbass" he said. No wonder they tasted so iron saturated. The name Luna never crossed my mind. More recently while reading a music magazine review section I noticed "Hey every one of these bands has a female member." Has the music progressed to the to point where a woman's voice is readily available and it's not so male dominated. I flip to the front of the magazine and read "Venus." Nevermind.
